The Dog Days Are Over (and the Hirozawa #NLRB Days Too!)

But the full impact of NLRB decisions will live on for years

Last week, I mentioned in the weekly CUE member newsletter that the National Labor Relations Board was expected to drop another bunch of decisions before the end of August, which marks the end of Member Kent Hirozawa’s term on August 27th.  While I didn’t need to be Nostradamus to see that coming, it turns out I was right.

Twitter does a great job of keeping track of this kind of stuff, so you can get all caught up by clicking through each of the links below, but before you do that, do me and yourself a favor.

Room Block Closes on 9/23!

Room Block Closes on 9/23!

Go register for the CUE conference in Dallas which be held at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Dallas October 16-18th. Our discounted room block closes on September 23rd, and rooms are going going fast.  We’ll be covering these topics and any other breaking developments at the conference.

And, if that’s not enought to raise your blood pressure a little, there was gem of a new rule that the Department of Labor released this week. Check out the excitement of the Teamsters at what they view as significant new leverage against employers who are federal contractors.

And just think, we still have a couple of days to go!

We are also offering our CUE Certification course which is a great way for your managers to keep up with today’s NLRB-powered warp speed world of policy changes, and a union campaign simulation as a post-conference workshop.
