The survey was developed by CUE in collaboration with IRI Consultants and the Labor Relations Institute, both members of the CUE Consultant Advisory Committee.  The Report includes:

  • Results and analysis of the CUE member survey about labor activity in their organizations
  • An analysis of national representation (RC) petitions and elections by industry as reported by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) during 2015.
  • A Labor Update reviewing issues facing CUE members in 2016 via the CUE Labor Lawyers Advisory Committee.

Respondents reported that the most active unions where their company has facilities were the Teamsters (IBT), United Steelworkers (USW), and Service Employees International Union (SEIU).  The nine most active unions, as reported by respondents, are listed in the attached chart.
