What is a CUE Virtual Conference like?

 

 

The health and wellness of our Members, Affiliates and Staff is a priority to CUE. We've kept a close eye on our current climate and worked closely with the Omni in Louisville, KY to ensure the most appropriate decision was reached.

CUE's Fall 2020 Conference will be held virtually, and we will be back at the Omni in 2022.

What happens at a CUE Conference?

Every year, CUE Inc. conducts two National Conferences, one in the Spring and the other in the Fall. These events attract Human Resource Professionals, Labor and Employee Relations Professionals, Labor Lawyers and Consultants from North America and across the globe. Our Members and Attendees represent virtually every industry, and companies ranging from small businesses to large Fortune 100 employers.

While attending our conferences, Attendees take part in sessions offering a cutting-edge focus on pro-active Human Resources practices, and the latest developments in Labor and Employee Relations. Elaine Dezenski, Founder and Managing Partner, LumiRisk, LLC will discuss one of the hottest topics today: the evolving U.S. - China strategic competition.

Her recent publication, Below the Belt & Road: Corruption and Illicit Dealings in China's Global Infrastructure, highlights global trends and risks in development and how China advances its soft and hard power agenda to change the rules of the game- and what it means for U.S. companies' engagement with China.

Ms. Dezenski has served as Senior Fellow and lecturer at Yale University, is a Senior Advisor with the Foundation for Defense of Democracies' Center on Economic and Financial Power and has held senior positions at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Interpol and the World Economic Forum.

The CUE Labor and Employee Relations Certification course will be offered during the Fall Conference. Attendees must attend all three sessions to qualify for the certification. The registration fee for the Certification course is $250 for Members and $325 for Non-Members.

Session #1: Creating and Maintaining a Positive Employee Environment, led by seasoned ER professionals, Steve Wardrop and Brad Rechel. The course is designed to highlight key elements of a successful plan to maintain a positive employee environment; present some elements of the ER programs and processes in use in the instructors' companies and provide an interactive environment focused on sharing and discussing best practices in the positive ER field.
