Confirmation Hearing For NLRB Nominees July 13

According to Politico Pro, confirmation hearings for the new NLRB nominees will be held next week. 

The Senate HELP Committee will hold a confirmation hearing July 13 for Deputy Labor Secretary nominee Patrick Pizzella and NLRB nominees William Emanuel and Marvin Kaplan.

Pizzella is acting chairman of the Federal Labor Relations Board and was the assistant Labor secretary for administration and management under President George W. Bush. Emanuel is a shareholder at the management-side firm Littler Mendelson and Kaplan is a counsel at the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission.

The hearing will take place at 9:30 a.m. in room 430 of the Dirksen Senate building.
