Puzder is widely assumed to be the front-runner pick for Labor secretary, and this will be his second meeting with Trump since the election.
On a transition briefing call this morning, transition spokesman Jason Miller said Puzder “has a really good handle on what the PE is trying to do to improve the economy. He’s someone who has been a success at a number of different levels. He is a job creator and understands what we need to do to get our economy moving for everybody.” Miller added that Puzder is a “very talented man with a very strong background.”
