Let’s face it..

When you’re working for someone else, it’s hard to ask permission to spend their money, especially when it comes to attending a conference. The ticket cost, airfare, hotel, and other expenses start to add up in your boss’ head before you can mutter the words, “Can I go?”

We’ve got some tips to help you get that approval to register from your manager!

The #SHRM18 Podcast Extravaganza @DriveThruHR

Meeting the #SHRM18 Bloggers via the #DTHR Podcast

Podcast sponsored by CUE Inc.  and ClearCompany

On February 16th, I had an idea.  In fact, I posted on the wall of a Facebook group that SHRM created for the members of the social media team that will be helping them with social media coverage during the 2018 SHRM National Conference and Exposition in Chicago from June 17-20th.

I have an idea. Which should make someone scared. I’d like to schedule all the #SHRM18 bloggers to do 15 minute shows on DriveThru HR. One day for each show. Who’s in?

That little gem of an idea has ended being 33 podcasts with #SHRM18 bloggers, and one more tomorrow with Robin Schooling talking about #NotatSHRM2018 featuring their thoughts on a multitude of interesting HR topics, along with some great tips on getting the most out of the conference.  Podcast episodes last from 15 to 30 minutes, and you can listen by clicking on the names of the bloggers below.
