CUE, the "Council on Union-Free Environment", was founded on December 1, 1977 to meet the need for a single-purpose national organization dedicated to assisting companies desiring to remain union-free through positive employee relations. CUE has just under 300 member companies, both union and union-free, representing a cross-section of business and industry, from small firms to Fortune 500 companies.
CUE works toward the union-free environment by eliminating the need for unions. This is done principally by the encouragement of positive human resource and human relations practices. CUE seeks to educate its member companies in these positive practices through its semiannual conferences, educational workshops, videos and publications.
Whether conducting research, disseminating information, sharing experiences, or educating members on union-free environments, CUE has consistently promoted the values of positive employee relations.
Our Purpose
The members of CUE are committed to union-free work environments through productive and positive human relations practices.
We provide high-quality education events, information services, and shared experiences regarding the benefits and the competitive advantages of a union-free workplace.
We are dedicated to the mutual support and professional development of our members in a personal and non-threatening setting.
